THE GATEWAY FIELD GUIDE

Find your way in the wild.

Open the map, locate your dinosaur, and plan your next journey.

Your live minimap

Follow your own dinosaur on a sharper Gateway map, with drinking water highlighted in cyan. No download needed.

  1. Open the minimap in desktop Chrome or Edge and sign in with Discord. Use the same account linked to Steam through Roz.
  2. Join Dino’s Incorporated, then click Float over game.
  3. Set The Isle to Borderless Windowed. Drag the floating map into a corner and resize it as you like.

Leave the original minimap tab open. You can switch to the game or use the website in another tab while the map stays above it. Only your dinosaur is shown; out-of-date markers disappear automatically.

Open Map controls (⋯) to show water names, place names, patrols, migrations, and sanctuaries. Drinking water starts on. Temporary puddles may dry up; the map does not measure current water levels.

Other browsers can use the map in a normal tab or on a second monitor. The floating window closes if you close its original tab.

Explore the detailed map

For a full atlas, open the map below. Enable Drinking Water in its layers for rivers, ponds, and waterfalls. You can also show roads, landmarks, and caves.

Use Vulnona’s game-screen scanner to read your coordinates when you open the status panel in The Isle.

  1. Open the map below and select The Isle — Gateway.
  2. Under Location Data, enable OCR scanning.
  3. In its new window, click Select/Start and choose your The Isle window.
  4. Open your in-game status panel with Tab so the coordinates are visible. Follow the scanner’s instructions to adjust its capture area if needed.

Screen capture starts only when you allow it in your browser. Stop sharing using the browser’s sharing control when finished. OCR can misread numbers; check your marker before relying on it.

The map and OCR scanner are provided by Vulnona, a separate website. This scanner is separate from the Roz-powered minimap above; Roz does not receive your captured screen. If the scanner window or screen-sharing prompt does not open here, use Open full map & tracker in a desktop browser.
